Preben Bo Mortensen is a psychiatric epidemiologist at Aarhus University. His research uses Danish population registers to investigate risk factors and causes of mental disorders, particularly schizophrenia and autism. He has contributed to understanding of the genetic and environmental determinants of psychiatric disease.
