Peter Nordlander is a professor at Rice University in the United States. His research focuses on theoretical nanophotonics, plasmonics, and metamaterials, including the optical properties of metallic nanostructures and light-matter interactions at the nanoscale. He has contributed to the theory of plasmon-induced hot electron generation and nanoscale optical sensing.
