Jos Raaijmakers is a microbiologist at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology. His research focuses on soil and plant microbiomes, including disease-suppressive soils and the production of antimicrobial compounds by bacteria. He has contributed to understanding plant-microbe interactions and biological control of plant pathogens.
