Rosa M. Rivero is a plant scientist at the Spanish National Research Council's Center for Edaphology and Applied Biology of Segura (CEBAS-CSIC). Her research focuses on plant responses to abiotic stresses such as drought and salinity, and on crop physiology and water relations. She has contributed to understanding stress tolerance mechanisms in agricultural crops.
