Sergio M. Vicente-Serrano

Sergio M. Vicente-Serrano is a climate and hydrology researcher at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC) in Spain. His research focuses on drought variability, climate change impacts on water resources, and the development of drought indices. He is known for the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), widely used in drought monitoring.
