David A. Wardle is an ecologist at Nanyang Technological University. His research examines soil biodiversity, plant-soil interactions, and ecosystem processes such as decomposition and nutrient cycling in forests and other ecosystems. He has contributed to understanding how aboveground and belowground communities influence ecosystem functioning.
