Choose Your Research Pathway
We are seeking candidates for two cutting-edge projects:
Theme 1: Advanced Numerical Simulations in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Fluid-Structure Interaction for Naval Hydroacoustics (LHEEA Lab)
- Topic: Use advanced numerical simulations to understand and mitigate Underwater Radiated Noise (URN) from shipping to protect marine ecosystems.
- Focus: Multiphysics coupling (CFD, FSI) and hydroacoustics using High-Performance Computing (HPC) and machine learning for real-time noise estimation.
- Ideal Profile: Strong background in fluid mechanics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Supervisor: Laetitia Pernod.
Theme 2: Robotic High-Throughput Binder Jetting for Large-Scale (GeM Lab)
- Topic: Develop an AI-augmented CAD/CAM framework for low-energy robotic binder-jetting systems dedicated to large-scale sand mold fabrication.
- Focus: 6-axis robot trajectory optimization, multi-scale geometric modeling, and life-cycle assessment (LCA) to support low-carbon design strategies.
- Ideal Profile: Expertise in CAD/CAM, robotic manufacturing, and/or computational design.
- Supervisor: Tugdual Le Neel.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Academic Level: You must hold a doctoral degree by the call deadline (Sept 9th, 2026) and have a maximum of 8 years of research experience.
- Mobility Rule: You must not have resided or worked in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the deadline.
- Skills: Fluency in English, team spirit, and a strong academic track record are essential.
Attractive Employment Conditions
- Salary: Approximately €6,000 monthly (fully loaded cost of employment).
- Allowances: Mobility allowance (€710/month) and family allowance (€660/month) if applicable.
