Department:The Division of Extension, Positive Youth Development Institute, is hiring for an Outreach Associate Non-Exempt.

About the InstituteThe Extension Institute of Positive Youth Development prepares the youth of today to become the effective, empathic adults of tomorrow. Our research-based youth enrichment programs like teens in governance build youth and adult capacity that help both sides grow. 4-H clubs, camps and afterschool programs give young people the hands-on experiences they need to develop an understanding of themselves and the world.
Compensation:The minimum starting hourly rate for the position is $18.91 per hour but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:- Ability to teach interactive lessons to youth and adults in groups settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional work environments
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives
- Experience providing administrative, program, event, or office support in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience supporting youth development, educational, community-based, nonprofit, Extension, or volunteer-focused programs
- Experience working with 4-H, Cooperative Extension, youth organizations, schools, camps, or similar programs.
- Experience planning, coordinating, or supporting meetings, workshops, trainings, events, or educational programs.
- Experience using enrollment, registration, event management, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Experience creating newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, or website updates.
Education:Required EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent
Preferred EducationBachelor's degree
