- Academic Level C - $142,267 or Academic Level D - $170,875 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation
About the role
As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of units predominantly at postgraduate level, with a focus on the blended delivery of our Master of Professional Psychology course. You will also supervise students undertaking psychology placement within FedCare Psychology Services and contribute to the Institutes administrative functions.
This position is based at our Berwick Campus however a remote location may be considered, with on-campus teaching for face-to-face intensives required.
At Level C you will:
- provide leadership in developing, teaching, coordinating, and moderating units in clinical psychology;
- undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students; and
- supervise students undertaking psychology placements within FedCare Psychology Service.
At Level D you will:
- make significant contribution to develop, teach, coordinate and moderate courses;
- provide leadership for the development, implementation and monitoring of student retention and success strategies;
- play a leadership role in the teaching, research and administrative functions of the Institute;
- make an outstanding contribution to research activity within the Institute; and
- supervise students undertaking psychology placements within FedCare psychology Services.
About you
You will work as part of the institutes team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission. You will be a creative thinker and avid problem solver, who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude. Part-time appointments will be considered.
You will possess:
- general registration as a psychologist and Board Approved supervisor status with AHPRA;
- demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and learning;
- capability to use learning management systems effectively; and
- capacity to support students completing placement.
