SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Breast Surgeon to step into a high-impact, leadership-ready role within one of the region's most active and respected breast programs. This is a rare opportunity to inherit and grow a well-established practice following the retirement of a long-tenured surgeon, offering immediate access to a strong referral base, experienced staff, and consistent case volume.
Join the second busiest breast program in the St. Louis region, where you'll practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across the continuum of breast care. This role also offers a faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, blending clinical excellence with academic engagement.

Clinical Scope & Environment

- Dedicated breast surgery nurse practitioner

Your Role
Clinical Excellence
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based breast surgical care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered treatment across the care continuum
- Collaborate closely with oncology, radiology, and pathology teams
Academic Engagement
- Faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine
- Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and trainees
- Participate in clinical education, case discussions, and potential research initiatives
Multidisciplinary Leadership
- Active participation in tumor boards and care coordination
- Partner across specialties to drive high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to program growth, innovation, and quality improvement
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology (or equivalent experience)
- Passion for multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care
- Interest in teaching, mentorship, and academic collaboration
- Strong communicator and team-oriented leader
