Academic Positions (Pre- or Postdoctoral Level) (full-time or 2 X part-time 50 %, E13 TV-L)

Reference no.: 2026/097. The Position is to be filled as soon as possible and is initially limited for three years. In principle, this Position can be divided into two part-time positions.

The University of Konstanz is a dynamic and internationally successful research university with approximately 10,000 students. The research focus of the Psychological Assessment and Health Psychology group is on psychological determinants of individual and collective health behaviours, emphasizing dietary and sustainability behaviour.

We are part of the Cluster of Excellence “Centre for the Advanced Study of Collective Behaviour“ (“Collective Appetite") and of the Baden-Württemberg Institute for Sustainable Mobility, where we are supporting the mobility transition through the research project “Why We Move How We Move."

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to our research on health behaviour with a special focus on health (nutrition) and sustainability behaviour (mobility)
  • Application and development of new and digital methods for behavioral assessment and behavioural design
  • 4 SWS teaching in the field of psychological assessment and health psychology

Your Competencies

  • Excellent or very good PhD or Master's degree in psychology, public health or behavioural science
  • High motivation to conduct high-quality research in healthy psychology and behavioural design/ Interest in the topic of sustainable mobility
  • Excellent training in methodology and statistics
  • Experience in datacollection, management and analysis (e.g. R)
  • Independent work, high personal engagement, communication and Cooperation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
