About The Team

Working on the traditional lands of the Wadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, the Student Wellbeing Directorate is dedicated to supporting student wellbeing within a diverse and inclusive university community. Your New Role!

Working within Murdoch University’s Access and Inclusion team and under the guidance of the Head of University Preparation Pathways, this role provides dedicated support to students enrolled in University Pathway Programs across the South Street, Rockingham and Mandurah campuses. The Access & Wellbeing Case Manager supports students who have experienced educational and social disadvantage, with a focus on enabling successful completion of pathway programs and transition into undergraduate study.

Key Duties

Deliver trauma-informed case management for enabling pathway students with disability, health conditions and/or other wellbeing needs, including risk assessment and referrals.

Develop and implement individualised Educational Access Plans, recommending appropriate, evidence-based reasonable adjustments where needs are not met through Universal Design for Learning initiatives.

Provide consultation and advice for University Preparation Pathways staff in the enabling pathways program in relation to supporting student wellbeing to enable success and transition to undergraduate study

This Fixed Term (12 Months) | Part time (30 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $114K – $130K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Social Work or allied health) with eligibility for professional registration.

At least 4 years’ experience in wellbeing and support services, including assessment, case management, and crisis/risk management.

Ability to work autonomously and deliver appropriate specialist interventions.

Experience providing trauma-informed practice to diverse communities.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to build effective external partnerships.
