The LACCD is accepting applications for Adjunct Health Care Ancillary Instructor positions at our Colleges for the 2026 Academic School Year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience, OR
• Associate's degree and six years of professional experience, which must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.
• A sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• For In-Home Supportive Services program: Experience providing direct patient care through Home Health or In-Home Supporting Services Agency.
• For Medical Assisting program: Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant.
• For Optician Technician program: Doctor of Optometry or Registered Optician.
• For Medical Interpretation program: Experience in medical translation and interpretation or National Medical Interpreter Certification.

The adjunct instructor should be prepared to teach any of the Health Care Ancillary Courses offered...
