Detailed Description
The Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science at the University of San Diego (USD) invites applications for a full time Adjunct Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor (non-tenure-track). The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance, department needs, and funding. The successful candidate will have an earned master's or doctoral degree in nursing, and experience teaching in a PMHNP program.
This is a full-time temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of August 31, 2027. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) from an accredited school of nursing program. California RN license.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) from an accredited school of nursing program. California RN license
- Two years of teaching experience in a Nurse Practitioner program required.
Background check: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Degree Verification Requirement: Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.
Posting Salary
$8,333 - $8,750 monthly; Excellent Benefits

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
