Summary of Job Duties: Teach in one of the following subject areas as assigned: Mathematics and Statistics. This is a pool position. Applicants will be contacted as positions become available. The position reports to the department head, who assigns responsibilities regarding student needs and course outcomes.

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Qualifications of instructors teaching in the classroom for both lower and/or upper-level courses leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree requires a master’s degree in the discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the subject area. Courses leading to a master’s require a doctorate degree. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Prior teaching experience.

Job Responsibilities: Classroom and online instruction; Assess and evaluate student learning; Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates; Requires consistent on-time attendance; Other duties as assigned.
