Adjunct Faculty - Department of Public Health, College for Community Health
Job Description
The College for Community Health at Montclair State University invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors in the Department of Public Health to teach undergraduate-level courses. Courses are offered in person on campus. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to student success. Please do not apply if you do not live close enough to commute to campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach an undergraduate course entitled Drug Education in the Schools to future health and physical education teachers
- Prepare and deliver course content aligned with departmental and course learning goals and student outcomes
- Provide students with timely, appropriate, and specific feedback
- Collaborate with departmental faculty and staff as needed to ensure instructional quality
- Comply with university policies and procedures, including timely submission of grades and course syllabi
Qualifications
Required
- Master's or higher-level degree in a relevant field of study
- At least five (5) years of experience working with or in a public school system
- In-depth knowledge of substance abuse education and prevention
- Higher education teaching experience a plus

Salary Range
