Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications to fill part-time adjunct faculty openings for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a pool posting and applicants will be reviewed only when there is a need to fill a position. Starting Salary: $4500 per 3 credit hour course

Major Responsibilities

A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. Illustrative needs include: Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cultural Psychology, Research Methods and Statistics, Psychology in Organizations, Forensic Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Introductory Psychology

Functional and Supervisory Relationships

Reports to the academic department chair

Required Qualifications

Appropriate level of experience and/or Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree preferred.
