Adjunct Faculty – Teach/Facilitate Pathophysiology/ Pharmacology Didactic- Summer (May 26-July 17)

Job description and duties:
- Teach assigned courses in a manner that promotes academic excellence and student engagement.
- Provide instruction in areas of professional and clinical expertise.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in maintaining records and documentation pertinent to the School of Nursing.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding faculty, staff, and students in compliance with federal laws and university policies.
- Maintain regular office hours and demonstrate reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
A Master of Science degree in Nursing is required; a Doctorate is preferred.
At least 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience required, 3-5 years of nursing educator experience in a university, hospital, or professional practices department preferred.
Requirements:
Unencumbered licensure status as an RN in the state of Virginia or one of the Compact States.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certified (CPR)
