Position Summary
The Gillings School of Global Public Health – the top public school of public health in the nation – offers a variety of professional Master of Public Health (MPH) concentrations under the schoolwide MPH program. ... Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
A masters in public health or related field is required. A PhD in public health or a similar field is preferred.
- Significant work and/or teaching experience directly related to the course being taught.
- Experience with public health practice or research focused on understanding factors that contribute to public health problems.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage group discussions.
- Strong writing skills, with experience providing feedback on written assignments.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Experience/background in multiple public health topics and disciplines.
- Experience teaching in higher education and/or online settings.
