Adjunct Instructor, Global Cultures of Beauty and Aesthetics
Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal; College of Humanities and Sciences
Candidates must be qualified to teach "Global Cultures of Beauty and Aesthetics,” a course exploring representations and interpretations of beauty across different media, global cultures and contexts. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.
Ph.D. or ABD in History, Ethnic Studies, Cultural Studies or related field is preferred.
This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus on a MW schedule at 2-3.15pm. Classes begin on August 24th and final grades are due by December 21st.
Candidates should submit a letter of application detailing experiences and areas of academic specialization and a curriculum vitae. Additional materials may be requested at a later date.
