Job Description
The School of Public and Allied Health is looking to hire an Adjunct Instructor to work in the Department of Public Health & Health. This part-time non-tenure track Adjunct Instructor will teach the undergraduate and graduate level courses.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to teach and relate positively to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Preparing and delivering course materials, conducting practical sessions, and evaluating student performance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and engage actively with students to enhance learning through office hours and support mechanisms.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with fellow faculty to align with educational goals, often integrating innovative teaching methods and technologies to facilitate a dynamic learning environment.
- Adaptability to meet various student needs and institutional expectations.
Required Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Healthcare or related field.
- Three years of higher education experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to use and implement technology in the course management.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
