Job Description

The Health Studies Program is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach the following classes: Exploring Health Careers, and Introduction to the U.S. Health Care System. These courses are designed for students planning a career in health care or a health-related field. The classes provide an introduction to various health professions, essential components of the health care system and health care policies. The candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing materials to help students understand required education and skills for working in health care
• Creating course content to assist students in understanding the key characteristics of the health care system
• Inviting guest speakers from different health professions to visit the class
