The Department of Curriculum & Instruction is hiring Adjunct Teaching Specialist or Adjunct Lecturer positions for the Curriculum and Instruction Program. This is a temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P & A) position as a Teaching Specialist or Lecturer, paid on a per course basis. Applications are reviewed as openings occur, and individual applicants are invited to interview when their skills or areas of expertise match an opening. This posting is designed to establish a pool of instructors.
Applications will not be acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year.
The individual hired will be appointed to a Fall, Spring, Summer, or full year part time Teaching Specialist or Lecturer in Curriculum and Instruction during academic year 2026-27.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities:
Teaching (90%)
- Attend class meetings and deliver course content.
- Evaluate student performance and submit grading.
- Respond to student inquiries and meet with students.
Course Preparation (10%)
- Complete orientation and training.
- Meet with appropriate faculty and gather information as needed.
- Develop course content and syllabus.
- Prepare course materials.
