Adjunct Literacy Faculty - Schar College of Education
The Department of Teacher Education in the Dwight Schar College of Education invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty member in Literacy. This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate literacy courses, with a particular emphasis on the Science of Reading and structured literacy practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in explicit, systematic phonics instruction and evidence-based literacy practices. The adjunct faculty member will play a key role in preparing future educators to implement effective literacy instruction aligned with current research and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree (M.Ed.) in Literacy Education or a closely related field (completed by time of appointment).
- Minimum of three (3) years of PK–12 classroom teaching experience.
- Demonstrated training in structured literacy (e.g., LETRS, Heggerty, UFLI, or similar programs).
- Ability to teach in person during the day.
