Job Description:

The Department of Education at Salve Regina University invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach in the M.Ed. graduate program in Special Education. The successful candidate will teach a course in a designated area of expertise. All courses are taught online either during the fall or spring semester or during the 7-week summer sessions.

• Early Childhood Developmental Screening and Assessment
• Early Childhood Itinerant Model Coaching
• Elementary - Literacy for Diverse Learners
• Elementary - STEM for Diverse Learners

Fall or Spring Semesters

• Assessment and Data Driven Instruction
• Understanding and Managing Behavior in Special Education
• Partnering with Families in Special Education

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining course content, delivering lectures, grading in a timely manner, and establishing and maintaining communication with students, faculty, and administrators.

Requirements:

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in related field
• Evidence of relevant expertise
• Teaching experience in a special education setting

Preferred qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in related field
