Administrative Assistant III, College of Osteopathic Medicine
Xavier University's College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking to fill two Administrative Assistant III positions. These roles will serve as integral members of our team, supporting key operations and contributing to the efficiency and success of our processes. The Administrative Assistant III position’s role will be part of the operational support team that assists the Dean's Office, Faculty, and Administrative Staff with their various responsibilities, works independently with a high degree of confidentiality, and performs other duties as assigned. The individual in this role will foster collaboration among college staff and assist with ongoing training and direction for the college’s support staff. The ideal person for the job will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and excellent attention to detail. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks associated with the efficient operation of the Dean’s Office and the College of Osteopathic Medicine, which includes arranging calendars, booking conference and travel arrangements, assisting with procurement, and other administrative functions.
- Support the Dean, Associate Deans, Administrative Staff, and Faculty with their responsibilities within the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the University, as well as external to the University when needed.
- Assist with event management for the College of Osteopathic Medicine, including logistics coordination and marketing/communications.
- Support initiatives and projects within the Dean’s Office and the College of Osteopathic Medicine as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Associates Degree Preferred
- 3-5 years experience in a comparable role with similar responsibilities and complex needs
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn other software
- Ability to adapt to changing environment with multiple priorities
