We are seeking an Administrative Officer (AOII grade) to work within in the Residence Office, reporting to the Hospitality Manager. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in a busy, challenging and highly automated environment. The Residence Office Team provides accommodation services with capacity for up to 1300 residents across the “on-campus” suite of purpose built SSA complexes. The service also supports short-term and seasonal accommodation requirements, including conference and guest accommodation.

It is expected that the successful candidate will impact the operational effectiveness, the quality of the facilities, the service provided to residents whether students or conference guests and will have direct input into adapting processes such as booking, check-in, income management and pricing, building maintenance and budgeting. Given the breadth and seasonal nature of the operation, the successful candidate will be expected to understand and respond effectively to the different operational, customer service, financial and regulatory requirements associated with student accommodation and short-term/conference accommodation. They will be expected to use data, technology, resident feedback and operational insight to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop practical, effective solutions.

This role holder will therefore have a working understanding of the differing challenges of each of these environments.

Salary:

Administrative Officer II (2026): €47,387 – €67, 129 p.a. (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
