Job SummaryThis position provides operational leadership for the IU Health Theranostics Center of Excellence (COE) which is housed within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences (RADY). Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Develops project plans
- Coordinates cross-functional teams
- Monitors milestones and deliverables
- Maintains project management and data-tracking systems
- Identifies project risks and shortfalls
- Reports progress to faculty/facility leaders and key stakeholders
- Provides executive-level project management, workflow infrastructure, operational tracking, dashboard development, and resource request oversight
- Works to ensure projects are completed within established timelines and operational systems support accountability and transparency
General Responsibilities
- Directs the daily and long-term financial and/or administrative operations of multiple institution organizational units or a multi-faceted academic research and teaching unit within a school or college
- Responsible for accuracy, timelines, and the general integrity of the Health Services Administration family
- Controls all expenditures and statement of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal integrity
- Manages complex revenues including internal and external sources
- Directs the management of general appropriation, endowment, federal and non-federal grants and contracts, and gift funds
- Prepares operating and project budget drafts. Creates annual revenue and expenditure budget for school or support unit
- Monitors functional area budgets and reports any significant deviations from approved budgets.
- Develops budgetary policies and procedures
- Responsible for supervising business support personnel
- Develops, plans, and directs special projects, which may include space renovations, space allocations, staffing, equipment purchases, long-range plans, leasing of off-campus space and services
- May oversee and direct variety of human resources activities including employment, labor relations, benefits, training, and classification for functional area

EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's degree in health services, finance, business, or a related field
Preferred
- Master's degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 4 years of related functional experience
- 1 year of management experience
Preferred
- Experience managing projects involving clinical care delivery, clinical research, Graduate Medical Education (GME) training programs, or complex interdisciplinary environments
- Experience coordinating projects involving multiple departments, teams, or institutional partners

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
