Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
In this pivotal role, your proactive approach will see you using your initiative and problem-solving skills to support the Advancement team with high-quality administrative and operational support.
From coordinating meetings and events to managing communications and maintaining critical records, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
As part of this role you will be:
- Coordinating meetings, travel, events, and team activities
- Managing shared inboxes and communications
- Supporting donor stewardship and alumni relations
- Maintaining accurate CRM and records systems
- Preparing documents, presentations, and reports
- Providing governance and administrative support to the UC Foundation
- Assisting with web and intranet content updates.
Mōu | Who You Are
You will have at least three years’ experience in a busy, complex and professional administrative or office support role and be able to demonstrate:
- A collaborative, self-motivated approach with a high level of professionalism
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills through examples of professional writing and articulate verbal communication
- Experience managing busy inboxes & calendars
- Experience in working with confidential information
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and modern office systems

Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
You will work within the Advancement team, collaborating closely with the Director of Advancement, the Advancement Team, and colleagues across faculties and service units. This role is central to building strong relationships and aligning messaging to enhance UC's fundraising efforts.
