In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen interdisciplinary and external research collaboration across the University.
You will work closely with senior leaders and diverse partners, shaping policies and programmes that deliver real-world impact.
What you will deliver:
  • Provide high-quality strategic advice and briefings to senior leaders on research collaboration opportunities and priorities.
  • Lead and support the design, implementation and evaluation of key research collaboration initiatives and programmes across the University.
  • Coordinate the preparation of reports, submissions and presentations for executive, governance bodies and government stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance shared research goals.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative Chancellery culture and support continuous improvement of research strategy processes.

The portfolio leads strategy for research quality, capability, infrastructure, collaboration, interdisciplinarity and translation. Working alongside experienced policy, strategy and project professionals, you will support initiatives spanning institutes, centres and interdisciplinary platforms.
