Veterinarians throughout the Midwest refer animal clients to the Veterinary Health Center for specialized diagnoses and treatment. With sophisticated therapeutic equipment that includes an underwater treadmill, advanced imaging techniques, and groundbreaking equine lameness diagnostic equipment, we are a center for animal healthcare.
The Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care (SAECC) service is seeking an experienced and motivated Sr. Veterinary Technician and After-Hours Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and operational support for a team of veterinary technicians and assistants in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital setting.
This position plays a key role in supporting patient care, staff development, workflow efficiency, and service operations. The Shift Supervisor serves as a clinical resource, coordinates daily staffing and patient flow, promotes adherence to hospital policies and procedures, and works collaboratively with veterinarians and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and team performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and students during assigned shifts.
