What is the AgriPark Casual Employment Register?

The AgriPark Casual Employment Register allows individuals to express interest in casual agricultural and farm‑based work at the University.

When short‑term or seasonal work opportunities arise within AgriPark, the University reviews this register and may contact suitably skilled candidates to discuss potential casual engagements.

Being on the register does not guarantee employment; however, it enables us to quickly connect with people who have relevant skills and availability when needs arise.

Who should apply?

We welcome expression of interest from individuals with relevant skills and experience in one or more of the following areas;

• General farm labour
• Livestock handling and animal care
• Biosecurity
• Soil sampling
• Cropping operations
• Horticulture and/ or vineyard work

How Does It Work?

1. Express Your Interest

Complete the online application form and provide details about your:

• Skills and experience
• Availability
• Preferred location (if applicable)
• Pay rate expectations

2. Stay on the Register

Your application will remain active on the register for up to six (6) months. You may update or withdraw your application at any time if your circumstances change.

3. Potential Opportunities

If a casual or temporary opportunity becomes available that matches your skills and availability, you may be contacted to discuss the role.

4. Employment Conditions

Casual employees are engaged by the university in accordance with applicable industrial and statutory requirements.
