I. About the University
Anhui University of Chinese Medicine (AHTCM) is located in Hefei, Anhui Province. Founded in 1959, it is among the earliest established institutions of higher learning in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in China and a provincial undergraduate university in Anhui. AHTCM currently serves as a National Clinical Research Base of Chinese Medicine, a National Base for International Cooperation in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a key university in Anhui Province's "Double First-Class" initiative, a designated institution for building high-level universities with local distinctive characteristics in Anhui Province, a doctoral degree-granting institution, and a postgraduate recommendation institution. The University has cultivated a distinguished faculty, including National Masters of Chinese Medicine, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars recipients, Qihuang Scholars, Renowned National TCM Practitioners, and Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams.
The University currently has 6 national first-class undergraduate program development sites and 21 national first-class undergraduate courses. It holds doctoral degree authorization at the first-level discipline in 3 disciplines and 1 professional degree category; master's degree authorization at the first-level discipline in 8 disciplines and 8 professional degree categories; 29 second-level discipline master's degree authorization points; and 3 postdoctoral research stations. AHTCM has been designated as an industry-characteristic nurturing university in Anhui Province. Two of its disciplines rank in the top 1% globally under the Essential Science Indicators (ESI). It has 1 Class I and 1 Class II peak discipline in Anhui Province, 4 peak nurturing disciplines, 2 distinctive disciplines, 1 distinctive nurturing discipline, 13 key disciplines, 6 high-level key TCM disciplines, and 17 key disciplines under the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The University has 1 distinctive specialty cluster and 2 modern industrial colleges in Anhui Province. It has established 1 National Regional Medical Center of Chinese Medicine, 3 National Regional TCM (Specialty) Diagnosis and Treatment Centers, 9 National Key Clinical Specialties, 23 key specialties under the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 19 national TCM advantage specialties.

II. Invited Candidates

- Outstanding young scholars who have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree from renowned universities at home or abroad, possess the ability to conduct independent scientific research, have achieved representative results in their respective research fields, show strong developmental potential, and are interested in working or undertaking postdoctoral research at Anhui University of Chinese Medicine.

IV. Positions and Compensation
The University sincerely invites outstanding young overseas talent to apply for the National Natural Science Foundation of China Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) through our institution. Upon approval and completion of the appointment procedures, successful recipients may be appointed to Tier 3 (Leadership Talent) positions in accordance with the University's talent recruitment policies. Other outstanding candidates may be directly appointed to Tier 4 positions (Grades A–C) based on their professional competencies and academic standing. Qualified doctoral graduates are welcome to pursue postdoctoral research at AHTCM. Specific terms are as follows:
1. Tier 3 Talent
- Research startup funding: no less than RMB 5,000,000 for natural sciences; no less than RMB 1,000,000 for humanities and social sciences.
- Relocation allowance: no less than RMB 2,000,000.
- Annual salary system: no less than RMB 1,000,000 per year.
- Appointment as Full Professor or Researcher; appointment as doctoral supervisor; guaranteed doctoral student enrollment quota in the first year, with master's student enrollment quota every year thereafter.
- Assistance with employment placement for spouse or child (one person).
2. Tier 4 Talent, Grade A
- Research startup funding: RMB 2,000,000 for natural sciences; RMB 500,000 for humanities and social sciences.
- Relocation allowance: RMB 1,000,000.
- Appointment as Full Professor or Researcher with corresponding salary; an additional talent allowance of RMB 150,000/year during the initial contract period.
- Appointment as doctoral supervisor.
- Assistance with employment placement for spouse.
3. Tier 4 Talent, Grade B
- Research startup funding: RMB 1,000,000 for natural sciences; RMB 300,000 for humanities and social sciences.
- Relocation allowance: RMB 700,000.
- Appointment as Full Professor or Researcher with corresponding salary; an additional talent allowance of RMB 100,000/year during the initial contract period.
- Appointment as doctoral supervisor.
- Assistance with employment placement for spouse.
4. Tier 4 Talent, Grade C
- Research startup funding: RMB 500,000 for natural sciences; RMB 150,000 for humanities and social sciences.
- Relocation allowance: RMB 500,000.
- Appointment as Full Professor or Researcher with corresponding salary; an additional talent allowance of RMB 80,000/year during the initial contract period.
- Appointment as master's supervisor.
5. Postdoctoral Researchers
Qualifications: Demonstrated research capability and strong academic potential; a solid track record of research output within the past three years.
Compensation: Annual salary of RMB 400,000 (pre-tax). Stipends received under national or provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Programs during the postdoctoral period are disbursed separately and are not included in the University's compensation package.
IV. Support for Attendees
During the visit, accommodation and meals will be arranged by the university. Invited scholars will be eligible for reimbursement of round-trip travel expenses, subject to the following conditions:
- Please book your own tickets and retain all relevant receipts. Reimbursement will be processed after the visit based on actual expenses.
- Travel subsidies are provided for economy-class airfare or second-class high-speed rail tickets, with the following maximum limits per person:
Europe & Americas: CNY 13,000
Asia-Pacific: CNY 7,000
Domestic (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan): CNY 2,000
Overseas Talent Visit Subsidy
The university offers a full-cycle visit subsidy from your participation in the forum to your formal employment. The details are as follows:
Category I (Leadership Talent):
For senior researchers at the level of Associate Professor (Associate Research Fellow) or above from globally renowned universities and first-class research institutions, or high-end industrial talents (e.g., chief scientists, chief engineers, or senior R&D personnel from world-renowned technology enterprises), a monthly subsidy of CNY 22,000 per person will be provided to the applicant and accompanying family members, with a maximum of CNY 56,000 per family per month.
Category II (Outstanding Young Talent):
For postdoctoral researchers or individuals holding a doctoral degree (generally expected from or graduated from globally renowned universities or first-class research institutions), a monthly subsidy of CNY 18,000 per person will be provided to the applicant and accompanying family members, with a maximum of CNY 44,000 per family per month.
Note: Subsidy support will be available for a maximum duration of 6 months and will cease upon the scholar’s formal employment by the university. For further details, please refer to the relevant policy outlined in the Talent Settlement Notice for those admitted to the “Kepiao·Wanxin Station” (a talent support program for researchers in Anhui Province).
