ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Teaching and Course Development

• Actively engage with students in CALS’ online course offerings to support faculty and enhance the learning experience for students.
• Teach up to two online introductory animal law courses per year as assigned by CALS, with potential for additional courses based on program needs.
• Collaborate with the Animal Law Program faculty to continuously improve curriculum and course materials.
• Develop and update materials for use in online and in-person courses.

Student Mentorship and Support

• Provide individualized mentorship to students.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person office hours.
• Assist in student-run animal law groups and projects.

Research and Content Development

• Conduct research on current animal law topics and curate relevant content for CALS’ educational programs.
• Collaborate with faculty to produce high-quality content.

Administrative and Program Support

• Support the overall administration of the Animal Law Program.
• Engage with students and alumni.
• Utilize the CALS’ learning management system.

Collaboration and Outreach

• Represent CALS at animal law conferences, seminars, and other events as approved.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external organizations.
