Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Animal Nutrition / Point of Sale associate. This role combines expertise in animal nutrition and feed with hands-on experience in point of sale operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with customers, managing light inventory tasks, and utilizing computer systems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable advice on animal nutrition and feed products to customers.
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales transactions..
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory using computer software.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to nutrition products and sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and feed products.
- Experience with point of sale systems and sales transactions.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with inventory and sales software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or agricultural supply environment.
- Basic understanding of livestock feeding practices.
Compensation details: 20-28 Hourly Wage
