DESCRIPTION (subject matter, expectations, comments):
The competition is open to individuals holding a Master’s degree in Nursing or a PhD in Health Sciences, with professional experience gained outside higher education
I. Requirements:
- To ensure high-quality teaching of specialist subjects within the Nursing degree programme.
- To provide specialist teaching staff for the Nursing degree programme.
- To carry out organisational work for the degree programme.
- To have a communicative level of English.

Documents required from the applicant:
- A covering letter or application for employment;
- A CV;
- A licence to practise as a nurse;
- A copy of the diploma and other documents confirming qualifications and compliance with the requirements set out in generally applicable regulations, as well as the additional requirements specified in the ANS in Piła’s articles of association;
- Photocopies of certificates and diplomas confirming completion of courses and professional development;
- Information on teaching and organisational achievements;
- Information on professional experience;
- A declaration of full legal capacity;
- A declaration of full civil rights;
- A declaration that the candidate has not been subject to a disciplinary sanction depriving them of the right to practise as an academic teacher for an indefinite or fixed period;
- A declaration of consent to employment at the primary place of work;
- A declaration by the candidate consenting to the processing of personal data in connection with the competition procedure.
In addition, the candidate may submit other documents or provide information which, in their opinion, may be useful in the outcome of the competition.
Specific Requirements
II. Requirements:
- A professional qualification of at least a Master’s degree in nursing.
- A valid licence to practise as a nurse.
- Teaching experience in nursing-related subjects.
- Professional experience in nursing, gained outside the university, covering a period of more than one year.
- Full-time employment at ANS as the primary place of work.
- General availability and flexibility.
- A communicative level of English.
- Desirable: experience in organising and coordinating academic conferences, seminars, workshops and other initiatives aimed at developing academic and teaching activities, as well as professional experience and specialist knowledge in the field of care and education relating to renal replacement therapy, internal medicine and internal medicine nursing, and the fundamentals of nursing.
The candidate is required to meet the requirements set out in Article 113(1) and Article 125 of the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668). The documentation must be submitted in accordance with the requirements and procedure set out in ORDER NO. 7/20 OF THE RECTOR OF THE STANISŁAW STASZIC STATE UNIVERSITY IN PILA of 21 January 2020 on the introduction of document templates for the open competition for academic staff employed at the Stanisław Staszic State University in Piła pursuant to § 115(3) of the Statutes of the Stanisław Staszic State University in Piła

The competition may be suspended or cancelled at any time by the Rector, without giving a reason, until a candidate has been appointed.
The results of the selection process do not constitute grounds for candidates to make any claims against the Stanisław Staszic Academy of Applied Sciences in Piła, in particular claims for employment. The decision to appoint a candidate is taken by the Rector.
In cases justified on substantive grounds, the Rector has the right not to appoint a candidate selected in the competition.
Documents must be submitted in Polish only.
The University does not reimburse any costs incurred by competition participants in connection with the entire process of taking part in the competition.
