Responsibilities
- Providing assistance in course preparation
- Attendance to evening classes and/or daytime classes as assigned
- Facilitating small team discussion under the supervision of the course instructors
- Coordinating various student activities
- Work closely with a team of teaching staff on a large-scale course, be responsible for practical and day-to-day aspects of course coordination, and support lectures on course delivery and assessment
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably a Master’s degree
- Good command of both English and Mandarin
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and communication skills with ability to work independently
- Passionate in student caring are required
- Proactive, willing and capable to handle projects
- Having an understanding of the Taught Postgraduate Programme would be a plus
- Immediate availability will be an advantage
The appointee will work in the main campus and Satellite Campus Venues (Lingnan@WestKowloon), and may need to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.
Salary and Benefits
The commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be normally made on a contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and the Centre’s operational need.
