Position title: Hematology and Cellular Therapy Faculty Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description
The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy (https://bmt.ucsd.edu/), in the Department of Medicine at Moores Cancer Center, University of California San Diego Health, is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body.
We are recruiting clinician educators to join our robust and growing cellular therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation program for patients with hematologic malignancies at a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and member institution of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
The selected candidates will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with hematologic malignancies, delivering high-quality teaching and training, conducting research, recruiting participants for clinical trials, performing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation procedures, and administering immune effector cell therapies.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology or Oncology.
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
