The Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior in the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The selected candidate will provide inpatient psychiatric services at the East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH) Adult Mental Health (AMH) and General Mental Health (GMH) units, contributing to high-quality patient care and supporting the department's clinical and academic missions. This position does not meet the requirements to be on a tenure track.

Responsibilities

Clinical - 90%
in-patient care with or without learners present

Teaching and supervision - 10%
in-patient supervision of learners; didactics, lectures, and seminars as needed

Required Qualifications

MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent with training in psychiatry, and state medical license.

Assistant Professor- Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training.

Associate Professor- Mid level career faculty member with at least five years at rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training, background, and experience.
