Assist head coach in administering and managing the intercollegiate sport of men's ice hockey within the educational mission of University and Department of Athletics. Assist with training and coaching student athletes to compete effectively and successfully on NCAA Division I level. quality student-athletes who are capable of succeeding in a challenging academic environment and an intensely competitive ice hockey program. Provide general guidance and support for student-athletes in athletic and non-athletic endeavors to enhance their experience at the University and promote academic success. Assist with managing the program budget to include ordering team equipment and planning for team travel. Abide by all University of Vermont, NCAA and Hockey East conference rules and regulations. Participate actively in University, general public, alumni, and media appearances and fundraising and booster events. Demonstrate commitment to issues of social justice and diversity.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor's degree is required and one to three years of collegiate coaching experience in hockey required.

Desirable Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range

$80,000 - $125,000
