Assist in student-athlete recruitment, individual and team
coaching instruction, daily administrative processes, compliance
oversight, and academic/social development, among others.
Assist in team coaching, preparing the team for competition,
and individual student-athlete development. Assist in monitoring
academic, social, and personal development of men’s and women’s
swimming student-athletes.
Maintain knowledge and remain current regarding all appropriate
NCAA, The Metro Conference, Department of Athletics and Recreation,
and the University’s compliance issues, policies, and
procedures.
Responsible for creating content and maintaining a strong
presence on social media.
Assist in the coordination of team and individual travel for
the purpose of team competition and student-athlete recruitment,
including traveling with the team to away competitions.
Assist in promoting and developing the program by creating and
maintaining effective relationships with alumni, donors, and
community members. Participate in events as a representative of the
department and men’s and women’s swimming programs.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or
Director of Athletics. The omission of specific duties does not
preclude the supervisor from assigning additional responsibilities
that are logically related to the position.
