Job Description

Serves as a member of the football program and assists the Ohio State Football Creative Media & Recruiting Department in the planning, production, and implementation of graphic design related tasks including print and digital content for recruiting, off-season, in-season, and on game days. Reports directly to Director of Design & Branding and assists with public-facing design tasks and special projects. Manages projects including recruit-specific/personalized graphics, digital/social media graphics and covers, and internal assignments while working collaboratively and communicating with other groups such as creative staff, support staff, student-athletes, and coaching staff to ensure consistent and cohesive efforts. Assists in advancing the Ohio State brand through creative processes; manages projects including recruit-specific/personalized graphics, digital/social media graphics and covers, film, capture, and edit practices and games, and internal assignments. Ensures that brand identity standards and personality are reflected through design work.

Works nights, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours. Required to work quickly, efficiently, and with adaptability under strict deadlines. Responsible for projects from start to finish. Requires team-player mentality that brings collaboration, innovation, creativity, and positivity. Serves as a liaison for the football program with other areas of the department and the University. Ensures compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University policies and procedures. Performs other related administrative duties assigned as they relate to daily football operations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Additional Education Desired
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications
Considerable experience in video production services, preferably in a sports environment. Experience and knowledge of field and studio production techniques. Knowledge of post production techniques including inter-format, non-linear and high-end digital editing as well as digital composition. Knowledge and experience with video graphics software including Adobe Photo Shop, Premier, Avid and After Effects.
