Assistant Director Student Media
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide training, advising, and development for the students within Student Niner Media.
- Provide support for the production and distribution of media developed through Student Niner Media, including the requisite technology for online media.
- Supervise student employees and interns.
- Provide organizational management and administration support for Student Niner Media organizations and initiatives.
- Provide leadership and coordination of departmental assessment efforts.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Bachelor's degree and two years of media experience; or with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
- Budget experience
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of media law & ethics and AP Style
- Higher education student media advising and training experience
