Assistant Manager (Capability Development)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic team player to contribute to capability development activities within the Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Institute (SNRSI). This position will require collaboration with global and industry partners, coordination of training programs, and strengthening national and regional expertise in nuclear safety, engineering and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and execute international/regional engagement events and meetings, e.g. ASEAN Nuclear Power Safety Research (NPSR) Network
  • Coordinate and develop national and international training and educational programs to enhance nuclear safety and owner/developer/operator technical expertise for the Singapore ecosystem of government agencies and potential industry partners, and for the ASEAN region.
  • Align capability development activities with national energy policy, regulatory requirements, and international best practices.

The level of the position will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Events Management, Engineering, Science, International Relations, or related field.
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written), project management, event and education programming, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • 3-5 years’ working experience preferred. Experience in project management, event and education programming preferred.
  • Skilled relationship-builder across diverse cultural and technical contexts.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented team player committed to advancing national nuclear safety and capability development.
  • Systems thinker who understands the relationship between human resource development and the wider nuclear energy industry.
