  • Plan and execute donor events end-to-end, including conceptualisation, budgeting and procurement, vendor coordination, speaker engagement, registration, EDMs, collateral preparation, technical rehearsals, on-site management and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and event databases, ensuring timely documentation and updates.
  • Drive donor acquisition, retention and renewals by preparing and following up on appeals; processing donations and agreements; and monitoring fundraising campaigns.
  • Steward donor relationships and communications by creating engagement opportunities and recognition initiatives, coordinating across departments, supporting the copy-editing and distribution of reports and materials, and conducting basic research on organisations and relevant topics.
  • Perform general administration duties, support IPS-wide events and undertake ad hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Arts, Social Sciences, Mass Communication(s), or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant work experience, preferably in events management, donor relations, or stakeholder engagement, including some leadership experience.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Methodical, meticulous and organised, ideally with experience managing detailed administrative tasks.
  • Self- motivated, collaborative, and capable of working effectively both independently and within a team under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
