Assistant Manager (Outreach and Special Projects)
Job Description
- Undertake management of outreach events (e.g. NUS Open House), from planning to liaising with vendors, including event evaluations and after-event improvement plans.
- Support and drive the development of new outreach programmes and initiatives in College of Design and Engineering (CDE) to promote our design and engineering education to pre-university institutions.
- Work with outreach teams in different departments within CDE to co-ordinate and support outreach, and engagement strategies for prospective CDE students.
- Manage communications with internal departmental stakeholders as primary point-of-contact.
- Manage partnerships and engagement with key external educational stakeholders including MOE teachers and parents to ensure alignment on outreach programmes and events.
- Track the sentiment of outreach programme participants and provide recommendations to optimize outreach strategies.
- Provide timely reporting to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communications or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in events planning, marketing, or relevant fields.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project/event management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
