Assistant Manager, Special Programmes (NUS College)
Job Description
You will be part of the NUS College administrative team working with the Vice Dean (Special Programmes) to coordinate and develop the special programmes at the college.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Vice Dean (Special Programmes) to support the planning, coordination, and ongoing development of the Global Pathways Programme, including curated global learning journeys across Asia, Europe, North America, and other study abroad opportunities;
- Manage and strengthen stakeholder relationships, serving as a key liaison with partner organisations, host institutions, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication, alignment, and smooth programme delivery;
- Provide proactive coordination and advisory support to faculty who are facilitating the design and implementation of academic components, and ensuring alignment between academic objectives and programme execution;
- Oversee administrative and operational processes for student exchange and international programmes, including application workflows, grant and award administration, and tracking of key project milestones, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance;
- Lead end-to-end programme logistics and event management, including planning, coordination, and execution of overseas programmes and related events, with attention to risk management and contingency planning;
- Drive communications and outreach efforts, coordinating publicity campaigns to effectively showcase programme outcomes, student experiences, and impact, in collaboration with relevant teams;
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other administrative teams within the NUS College Deanery, ensuring alignment of processes, efficient resource utilisation, and seamless programme delivery;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational enhancement, contributing to the continuous strengthening of programme delivery and student experience.
Qualifications
- A recognised University degree
- Interested in advancing innovative undergraduate education
- 4 to 6 years of work experience preferred
- Organized, meticulous and able to work independently
- Possess good communication and problem-solving skills
- Team-player and strong interpersonal awareness
- Enjoys interacting with faculty members and students
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
