Job Description Summary
This position leads the Center’s efforts to engage external audiences, including alumni, donors, universities, and partners. The role ensures consistent and impactful communications, supports fundraising and alumni engagement, and facilitates ecosystem growth. This position reports to the Director of the L.I.F.E. Center, with a dotted line to the Farmer School of Business Director of Marketing and Communications.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
- Execute the Center’s marketing and communications strategy.
- Lead external communications and messaging to alumni, donors, partners, and collaborators.
- Design and manage digital platforms to support communication and collaboration.
- Oversee engagement with Miami alumni, major donors, and international ecosystem partners.
- Distribute content, tools, and resources that support the faith and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
For Assistant Director: Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, digital design, or closely related field by date of appointment.
For Associate Director: Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, digital design, or closely related field with 5 years of experience in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, journalism, digital design, or some combination (as demonstrated by coursework or professional experience).
Consideration may be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in business or related field, 4 years of experience in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, journalism, digital design, or some combination (as demonstrated by coursework or professional experience) and/or with experience in:
- scaling strategies in an entrepreneurial setting.
- scaling strategies in higher education.
- faith and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- graphic design.
- developing platforms to expand new programs or events.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent written / oral presentation.
- Organization skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to travel.
