Assistant or Associate Professor in Educational Leadership / M.Ed. Program Coordinator

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies is seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor level in Educational Leadership. We are especially interested in candidates who have experience teaching online and hybrid graduate courses and whose research and teaching are related to district leadership, school leadership, educational policy, or the superintendency. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies programs and will serve as the M.Ed. Program Coordinator for ELPS. Major responsibilities include: providing academic and administrative leadership for the M.Ed. program; coordinating program planning, recruitment, admissions, advising, assessment, and continuous improvement; teaching graduate courses; advising students; maintaining a productive scholarly agenda; and serving on department, school, and university committees. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience securing external funding, maintaining an active research agenda, serving as a principal, central office leader, superintendent, policy maker or board member, and who demonstrate strong research and graduate-level teaching skills.

The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate degree in educational leadership, or a closely related field from an accredited university. The position is available beginning August 2027.
