Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiology have a large fellowship program with active involvement of trainees within the pediatric echocardiography lab. Excellence in teaching is also required, including curriculum development, innovative teaching materials, and mentoring of junior faculty is also expected.

Clinical responsibilities may include Inpatient and Outpatient coverage of General Cardiology Service, Fetal Echocardiography at Main Hospital and satellite offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The CHOP echo lab has advanced imaging cores including 3D/modelling, quality assurance, education, and research. There is a strong stress echocardiography and contrast echo programs with opportunities for incoming faculty to partner and participate in these areas.
